‘Coupon Business Blast’ on tap

Four Bergenfield businesses have joined forces to support the Bergenfield Community Center (BCCBF) project with an August "Coupon Business Blast."

Speedy Car Wash & Detail Center, Matthews Diner & Pancake House, Dynamic Auto and Broderick's Florist have each picked a week in August during which they will donate a portion of sales to the BCCBF for each patron presenting a coupon.

Coupons for the event are available at the Bergenfield Public Library, and at each of the participating businesses.

The coupons will also be posted weekly on the Bergenfield Community Center Building Fund Web site, www.bergenfieldcommunitycenter.org.

• Speedy Car Wash, 192 S. Washington Ave., will donate 50 percent of a patron's bill to the BCCBF for car washes on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, Aug. 3, 4 and 5, when the coupon is presented.
• Matthews Diner, 430 S. Washington Ave., will donate 10 percent of a diner's bill to the BCCBF on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, Aug. 10, 11 and 12, when the coupon is presented. Daily specials are not included in this promotion.
• Dynamic Auto, 91 S. Washington Ave., will donate 5 percent of purchases made with the coupon to the BCCBF on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, Aug. 17, 18 and 19.
• Broderick's Florist, 34 N. Washington Ave., will donate 10 percent to the BCCBF for purchases made with the coupon on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, Aug. 24, 25 and 26.

The BCCBF is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization. Information about upcoming events is at www.bergenfieldcommunitycenter.org.

Funds raised by its activities are for the construction of a community center to benefit the residents of Bergenfield.

BCCBF meetings are held at the Veterans Memorial Park field house at 8 p.m. on the third Wednesday of each month.
